Contribution rules

You can make a donation if you are a resident of B.C., and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Organizations cannot make campaign contributions or reimburse individuals for making campaign contributions. For 2026, you can give a total of $1,429.70 to a local elections candidate or elector organization per campaign.
